About us

To meet the ever-growing demand and the ever-higher requirements of clients, authorities and architects, the Willy Naessens Group decided in 2007 to start up a new production unit for the prefabrication of wall elements. This new installation redefines the limits of what an average production unit of wall elements can do: theoretical capacity of 1,800 m² a day, wall elements up to 4 m high (storey height), wall elements up to 16 m long and wall elements up to 32 tonnes. Because of its sophisticated concept, this unit can produce a vast array of elements: industrial wall elements, office walls, supporting wall elements, grey concrete bodies.

Furthermore, a state-of-the-art mixing plant ensures an unlimited supply of raw materials per ship, the installation was built on the Scheldt river. The production unit’s electricity supply is based on solar power, and a large installation for water recycling cancels the need for an external water supply. With this investment, the Willy Naessens Group is ready to face the 21st century challenges of wall production.

Willy Naessens Construct obtains CSC certification

The Concrete Sustainability Council certificate (CSC) is an international guideline for the socially responsible production of cement, aggregates and concrete.

By obtaining this certificate, Willy Naessens Construct strengthens its reputation as a reliable and safe employer and sets itself apart from other players in the sector. Among other things, the certificate confirms compliance with local laws and regulations, safety and health regulations, and monitoring and continuous improvement of the quality of products and services. With this certificate, Willy Naessens Construct contributes to maintaining the company's integrity and good relationship with stakeholders.

Climate policy

As a company, Willy Naessens Construct is aware of the challenges posed by climate change and wants to do its part to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Willy Naessens Construct contributes to the build group's goal of reducing its CO2-emissions with 2.5 % per year.

Measurement: Willy Naessens Construct will regularly measure and track GHG emissions to determine how much GHG they emit and where these emissions occur.
Reporting: Willy Naessens Construct will report GHG emissions annually and make this information publicly available so that stakeholders are aware of our efforts to reduce GHG emissions.
Reduction: Willy Naessens Construct will set targets to reduce GHG emissions and will take measures to achieve these targets. This can be done, for example, by introducing energy-efficient technologies, reducing the use of fossil fuels and investing in renewable energy sources.
Monitoring: Willy Naessens Construct will regularly monitor and adjust its efforts to reduce GHG emissions if necessary to ensure that it achieves these targets.
